Aug 4, 2018 · Just an FYI, the radio mentioned is an overseas 2016 Part number Charger RA4/VP4 unit, - RoW = Rest of World. There are very few, if any -ROW sw files on this site and likely even less charger specific files (they're not the same files as 13-17 ram radios).

Mar 30, 2014 · 2016 8.4an (ra4/vp4 na) Some have had problems with it and a some have had success using these with the conversion. Doesn't seem to consistently work in 2013, 2014 & some 2015 trucks.

Nov 9, 2016 · For the 2018 model year RAMS, the 8.4 Radios were changed from the previous VP3/VP4 Harman radios to the 4C/4C-Nav radios made by Panasonic. The biggest advantage of these new 4C Radios is the support for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The radios themselves fit the same mount as 2013-2017 RAMS and the radios require no special programming to work.

Sep 20, 2015 · That is the same part number for 2015 RAM VP4 NA/RA4. Have a look at the OP and post 4. I think you should be OK with the RAM fw files since the Pn's match. Just make sure you are using the fw that matches your radio pn. Let us know how it goes. Some have had issues with their 2015 RA4's not accepting the update files.
