To understand Vyrn, you first need to understand Bahamut. First there is The Omnipotent One. Basically god. He split everything in existence into two, including himself. So now we have the Astral God for the Astral Realm, and the Sky God (Bahamut) for the Sky Realm (where we are).

He can be grating at times, and I think he's probably more deserving to be controversial than Lyria. He is hurt by GBF event writing accommodating players of all stages of story progression more than anything else. But all in all he's fine.
