2011年2月9日 · Having personally owned both an E55 w210 and w211 I can say with confidence that the w211 is the far superior car. A lot of the issues with the w210 have been ironed out. My w210 always seemed a bit twitchy and harder to control with confidence on corners etc, whereas the w211 is much more solid with better road holding.

2003年6月1日 · FYI, the merlot used in the 211 E55 does not look like Ruby. It's a kind of plum pinkish wine color, and is a little lighter than Ruby. The Berry Red used in the SL is a bright red and quite flashy.

2011年2月5日 · Putting in the engine is solved, its the electrics that have me worried. It's a W211 E55 motor, not the W210. I am not going to wait a couple of years to get the E55, where I live it's too expensive, I got my E500 for a good price and this engine for a good price. This swap is absolutely the cheaper way.

2014年1月10日 · As a current W211 owner, I can tell you I absolutely enjoy the car. The 2009 was the last year of production, and arguably one of the best. With the pre-facelift models, there's going to be a lot you want to look at. In all honesty, if you can spring for it, go for a later model. Much more refined.
