2011年9月25日 · Hello, I was wondering if there's enough space to fit a stock V12 (M137 or M275) into a W211? I know Brabus has done that, but their engine has lots more things and takes more space and I don't know what else... So will a stock V12, as found in the W220 S600, fit in an E-Class W211? And what about the gearbox?

As a world debut at the IAA 2003 in Frankfurt, the BRABUS E V12 celebrates its world premiere at the most important car show of the year. This high-performance sedan is powered by a 12-cylinder biturbo engine with 640 hp (471 kW). With its electronically limited top speed of 340 km/h it is among the world’s fastest automobiles.

When you already make the fastest production 4-door sedan in the world, it's hard to come up with a sequel: the replacement has to be faster, stronger, better and more. It's tough being the best! Another 50 or so horsepower can't hurt, and an output figure in the six-hundreds just looks oh, so professional.
