The Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act or WIOA (which supersedes WIA), provides federal funds to states to help job seekers, workers and businesses with career services, job training and education (as of July 1, 2015).

The Employment and Training Administration (ETA) administers core and discretionary programs authorized by WIOA.
