WKGC Public Media (90.7 FM) is a radio station licensed to Panama City, Florida, United States. The station is currently owned by Gulf Coast State College. [2] WKGC-FM was the brainchild of two Gulf Coast students, Charles Wooten and Ron Johnson, who concocted the idea in 1968.

WKGC, Your local Public Radio Station on the Emerald Coast and Northwest Florida, from Destin to Port St. Joe, to Marianna to Defuniak Springs. WKGC broadcasts four HD Radio channels: HD-1 simulcasts the main WKGC signal. HD-2 carries Classical Music programming, as well as opera during its season HD-3 carries Jazz programming.
