Nov 7, 2017 · WSF if the main powder I use for 9mm. The recoil impulse is spread over a longer time, so the recoil feels softer to me than the shorter snap of rounds loaded with faster powders like VV N320. Rounds loaded with WSF also shoot very accurately in my guns. However, I will note that WSF is fairly dirty.

May 31, 2009 · WSF should be reasonably consistent in 9mm with 115gr and 124gr jacketed bullets. When using Win cases and Winchester SP primers, I got extreme spreads of about 30 fps using Montana Gold FMJ bullets. Mixed cases gave somewhat larger extreme spreads. Jun 28, 2015 · 3.4 WSF, 147 SNS or Blue Bullets Coated Bullet, 1.135 OAL shoots accurately and reliably out of my stock Glock 17 and 19. Published data from Winchester/Hodgdon lists 3.7 (905 fps) - 4.1 (965 fps) gr at 1.169" OAL for 147 gr coated lead flat point bullets.
