Back in 2015 the magnificent Wisconsin & Southern 101, accompanied by its equally handsome business train made a 3-day equipment deadhead move from (as I recall) the Tulsa area to Wichita, KS. This involved two WATCO properties, the SKOL and the K&O.

WSOR 101 shoves three bi-levels toward downtown Madison. Wisconsin and Southern ran free rides from downtown McFarland to Madison all day for a family festival. It was a perfect day for it! The crowd pours into the train as the trainmaster shines up the loco and the crew takes 5.

Last April the WSOR 101 & passenger car entourage was deadheaded over the SKOL from the Tulsa, OK area up to Wichita, KS. I spent 3 very enjoyable days giving this beautiful train a chase from basically the Oklahoma state line all the way to Wichita.
