Wichita State changed the student email system and email address formats. Beginning August 30, 2016 all official WSU student email will be sent to @shockers.wichita.edu addresses.

Your WSU student email account is a valuable tool for communicating with your instructors and WSU staff. It is a primary way that you will stay informed about matters related to your courses and WSU in general.

Outlook allows you to send and receive email messages, manage your calendar, easily schedule meetings, manage your contacts, and track your tasks. All WSU faculty, staff, and students have access to Outlook through your WSU account.

Official Correspondence with Students: All correspondence regarding academic- and business-related activities will be sent to the student’s official @wsu.edu Email account, effective the first day of instruction of the student’s first-enrolled term.

The first time you open the Outlook App, you will need to sign in with your WSU Email Address and then your WSU Network ID and Password on the WSU Login Page the first time you run the app after installation. Doing this should setup your WSU Email Account in the Outlook App.

All official WSU email communication must be sent to students’ WSU email address, beginning on August 24 (the first day of fall 2015 classes). In myWSU (formerly zzusis), all students’ preferred email will be the WSU email (@wsu.edu).
