Established in 1913 as the West Virginia District Golf Association, we represent 85 Member Clubs and 11,000+ golfers statewide. As a central information hub, we administer the USGA Handicap System, Course/Slope Rating, qualifying rounds, and manage amateur status.

The 2025 VIP Card features 69 West Virginia private, public, and resort courses at EXCLUSIVE VIP rates. They also receive an official Handicap Index for score posting and each golfer has a specific, private number assigned to them.

2024年7月31日 · Legendary professional golfer Sam Snead holds the record for the most WV OPEN victories at 17 between 1936 and 1973. Professional golfer David Bradshaw of Harpers Ferry has claimed the title 12 times from 2001 to 2021 and is playing in this year’s event.

2024年7月23日 · The fifth of six state-wide qualifiers for the 91st West Virginia Open Championship, presented by WVU Medicine, saw a great day of golf at The Pines Country Club in Morgantown on Tuesday. Hoping to qualify for one of 15 spots or two alternate positions in the Championship later this month, 46 golfers teed off this morning.
