2013年1月23日 · Back in 1974, pop music artist Kiki Dee released the hit single “I’ve Got the Music in Me.” The title of that song came to mind while talking to the man who has been credited with composing entrance themes for WWE Superstars for nearly three decades, Jim Johnston.

The Million Dollar Man’s unmistakable cackle opened a theme song that served as an infuriating reminder of the golden rule — as in the guy with the gold makes the rules. Sung by the Million Dollar Champion himself, the entrance theme told members of the WWE Universe everything they needed to know about the greedy Superstar.

WWF began releasing Johnston-produced theme music as compilation albums beginning with WWF Full Metal: The Album in 1995, [3] with WWF The Music, Volume 3 achieving platinum status in the United States, signifying one million sales, [2][4] while WWF The Music, Volume 4 reached number five in the Canadian Albums Chart.
