The WAAAGH! is the name given by the Orks themselves to the massive military campaigns they periodically unleash on the galaxy as part of their eternal desire to seek out combat and war.

"Waaagh!", which is a guttural slang for the word "War!", is an almighty phenomenon, an almost spiritual calling to war that fills every Greenskin with frenetic energy. It is the will of Gork and Mork made manifest, a power visible to Greenskins in many ways.

The War of the Beast, or WAAAGH! The Beast, was an enormous Ork invasion that threatened the Imperium in the mid-32nd Millennium. Led by the Warboss 'The Beast', this was the largest Ork invasion ever, even surpassing the Ork WAAAGH! defeated during the Ullanor Crusade.
