Cars/Kars could be either way, but in Japanese Esidisi (エシディシ, Eshidishi) and Wamuu (ワムウ, Wamuu) are spelled and pronounced differently than ACDC (エーシー・ディーシー, Eeshii Diishii) and Wham (ワム).
