2017年11月5日 · They're even warmer if you put something like the UnderArmour gloves on first. I like the neoprene because it cuts the wind and is mostly waterproof except for at the seams/finger cutouts. My decoy gloves are those blue Atlas gloves that you see the deckhands wearing on Deadliest Catch. Fishing stores around me have them for about $5 a pair

2012年9月14日 · I've been hunting 40+ years and there is NOT a glove made that will keep your hands warm and dry through all the activities associated with duck hunting. I use a set of Atlas 460 insulated crabbers gloves for boat rides and picking up decoys.

2025年1月12日 · Neoprene wouldn't be the warmest or best glove to shoot in. It should be waterproof but that wasn't a requirement. What some consider warm, others wouldn't. Depends on circulation, temps, etc. I've never found thin gloves to be warm when it's cold enough to wear and shoot with gloves on.

2012年11月20日 · I have a pair like this, several companies make this same glove for a variety of prices. Mine is a pair of Academy brand that I gave $20 for. They are the warmest gloves I have ever used and really like them. Although it is a pain in the ass to try and quickly put your finger in the trigger guard to shoot IMO.

2013年5月14日 · Quite honestly, when sheep start growing synthetic "smart wool" or any other man made material I will then and only then wear those products against my feet :lol3: ...My father is a hard headed man. Til this day he puts on a thin cotton sock and then a " heavy hunting sock" over it which is basically a cotton dacron blend thick sock.

2015年7月24日 · Good wool socks arent cheap but if you only wear them while hunting theyll last a good few years. Don't let your feet get constricted. Meaning dont put on 3 pairs of socks and stuff your feet into a boot.

2022年12月13日 · Hats. gloves, vests, hand muffs, coat, socks, waterproof, etc. is your stuff camo or orange? What DO you know about duck hunting from a clothing perspective? This is your 1st time apparently, will this be ongoing or just once to "try it"? People can help but you gotta try a little harder to get the best input so people aren't guessing. IMO.
