This might be a bit of a stretch for WATP, however as a big fan of Top Gear and The Grand Tour, this just seems ripe for Karl's critique. Hammond hosted Top Gear from 2002-2015, and Grand Tour from 2016-2024. He's traveled the world (on BBC and Bezos' dime) and driven cars many of us would never be in the same county as.

The only time WATP drags is when Karl starts talking about music and bands. The end of this last episode with Hannah gushing about some concert was a snore, far more so even than the usual review girls segment, and Karl kept encouraging it because anything about bands or with a musical tune tickles his pickle to no end

First became aware of WATP way back when they first covered Opie and it got posted to the old the O&A subreddit. I listened to part of the episode but didn't really like the show. Years later I heard Karl's appearance on the Dick show where he talked about his drama with the Vanished podcast and decided to give the show another shot.

) But WATP is really hard to listen to in general these days: it is genuinely less fun now that the focus is rushing straight into drama, and endlessly reiterating the same points: ok, we GET IT; Chad Zumock is a sad liar, and a drunk (as if alcoholics are known for being paragons). Honestly, I'm listening to WATP mostly out of habit now.

WATP usually has a good mix on who comes on so can’t complain much with the hosts. Cardiff Electric is the only one I find actively awful to listen to but he is on basically every show in this horseshit so not really a WATP exclusive problem

2020年10月28日 · I think the fbhw episode was really good, and the people who don't like it don't get the show, or are upset that they ripped on something they like. Both mindsets are fine. WATP isn't did everyone. As for what the gigs didn't address it. I think it would make did a great segment 17. Maybe they don't know WATP, maybe they just want to ignore it.
