Tops deal is a holdover from Niagara Dairy before Upstate bought them out and most their milk comes from Upstate's Buffalo plant (or at least is used to).

Wegmans has way cheaper sugar products, and they sell them by weight instead of unit pricing. You need a come to Jesus moment sheeple. Wegmans will sell you sugar and/or high-fructose by the pound.

The Wegmans in the city isn't representative of the Wegmans in the suburbs. It's nice, but it doesn't represent what makes Wegmans special. The main benefit is that they carry literally everything. It's like a luxury high quality grocery store, except they also have all the "normal" products that a place like Whole Foods doesn't carry.

Wegmans used to be truly leagues above other grocery stores. But slowly I feel the experience has dwindled. With COVID, and then the recent inflation, this has accelerated. It used to be I only needed to go to Wegmans (plus local butchers, farmers markets) and was perfectly content. But now there's just some stuff I just can't get at Wegmans.
