We have recently completed the retrofit of the Premium cabins on our active Boeing 737 series aircraft. The space has been redefined with new levels of privacy and comfort. Sky dividers create a separate cabin with new wider, leather seats in a 2x2 configuration.

WestJet's B737-800 operates on short and medium-haul flights and has a 168 seats capacity. The Premium section is located in the first three rows of the aircraft and offer 3-4 inches of additional pitch. Passengers seated in Plus will get advance boarding, first access to overhead bins, and complimentary food and beverages (selections vary).

PREMIUM AND ECONOMY SEATING 737-800. The service was quite good and WestJet cabin crew are known for trying to add a little humour to the total experience of the flight. There was an excellent Australian Merlot to sip on and it paired well with a Greek Salad and Alberta Beef. Nice meal at FL380 on a beautiful day for flying!

Economy has 156 seats in a 3-3 config; Premium economy has 12 seats in a 3-3 config; this is pretty standard for these aircraft. Legroom-wise, the Economy pitch of 31-33" is average, the Premium economy pitch of 36" is average, though of course what that means for you depends on how tall you are!
