The WGTF, through innovative, effective swing mechanics and teaching methodology, establishes a national and international standard in training and certification for professional golf teachers. With its unique evolution, it plays a significant role in the history of golf instruction worldwide.

The following golf teaching professionals have been named as the WGTF Top 50 Teachers for 2024-2025. This list is the only worldwide ranking of golf teaching professionals. Those on the list were selected for their teaching acumen and accomplishments and were nominated by their respective federations.

The World Golf Teachers Federation (WGTF) was established in America in 1993. Since its inception, the WGTF became the first worldwide membership entity of professional golfers to adapt a standard method of certification which crossed boundaries amongst golfing nations.

Under the motto train the WGTF golf teacher, we have an extensive “Work Your Own (WYOG)” program with, among others, Phil Allen, trainer at the WGTF and former coach of Joost Luiten. A program aimed at increasing and/or improving one's own golf skills as well as providing group lessons, clinics, events and youth lessons.
