2011年10月23日 · Westchester borders the Bronx, Rockland is a bridge and at most 5 min drive West from Manhattan, yet both are considered "upstate" by most folks. Greene county? Yeah, makes sense. Sullivan? Sure. But if I can literally fall out of a NYC borough into Westchester County, then surely it's not far enough to be considered UPstate. /end rant
