"Trace free" in Asus monitors? Best setting for this for fps game?
So I got a monitor for my ps4, the Asus VZ249H. The picture is perfect and the speed too (response time). But one setting that's confusing me is this "trace free". What is it and what's the best trace free setting for fps games? I basically just play Battlefield 1.

2021年10月21日 · Overdrive on ASUS is usually called Trace Free. Fool around with this to see what level looks best to you. If you cannot change the setting, then double check what picture mode you have. Preset picture modes often will not let you change settings other than brightness, so pick standard / custom and that should let you change everything.

2019年8月5日 · I'm currently using an HDMI, gonna pick up a DVI tomorrow, so i'm still at 60hz. Question though, when trace free is on, the monitor is absolute shit. Ghosting, videos and games blurring and flickering, besides that, it works perfectly and i'm pretty satisfied. Why is this happening with trace free on?
