White Rock is prepared for snow & winter conditions The forecast is calling for snow this weekend and City staff have been busy preparing our city streets, facilities, and park spaces for winter conditions.

White Rock is a picturesque, seaside city of 21,939 residents in southwest British Columbia and is a total of 5.12 sq km. The city is located beside the sprawling sandy beach and warm, shallow waters of Semiahmoo Bay.

Focusing in on White Rock, the City’s population grew by 3.2% between 2011 to 2016, and is now estimated to be about 20,000 residents - 57% of which (11,410 residents) are a part of the ‘working age’ (15 to 64 years of age) population category.
