2020年6月9日 · Overall, this is what I'd recommend to anyone looking for a way to use their Wii over HDMI. WiiDual. This is the cream of the crop. The WiiDual is a hardmod that not only makes the Wii output in true 480p, it adds an actual HDMI port to the Wii that is digital to digital. It's very involved, but for some, it may be worth it.

I have a Wii that I love to use, but the new TV that I got only had HDMI inputs. I've considered getting a Wii2HDMI but I've heard that these don't combine the audio into the HDMI signal, instead requiring a separate 3.5mm audio cable to be run to some speakers. I've also heard that some adapters don't play nice when playing gamecube or VC titles.

2023年4月10日 · What's the best Wii HDMI solution as of 2023? I want my Wii to be my GameCube and Wii machine. I have a 65in HD tv. I'm not looking for amazing picture quality, or even 1080p quality because the GameCube and Wii didn't support that. What I'm looking for is an HDMI connection to get my Wii working on my smart tv.

The wii isn't capable of more than 480p regardless of what you do to it, so the only difference between hdmi converters is how well they upscale and the noise, and unless you are prepared to spend more than you paid for the wii itself a wii2hdmi is good enough.

2020年11月26日 · They’re cheap and the image is crisp, after all it’s the wii, the hardware IS limited. The HDMI upscaling doesn’t go to 1080p; they’re all Chinese made and tell you that, but they only go to 480p or 480i. You’d need the HDMI adapter as well as an HDMI cord, and in my opinion, it’s just not worth it.

2023年10月12日 · The best way is technically to do a Wii HDMI mod. Not the easiest but it does provide the best image quality. You can see it in Voultar’s video on the mod here. The second best way is to use an upscaler like an OSSC or a Retrotink 5X paired with component cables. This will provide stellar image quality at the cost of price.

2015年1月24日 · Buying a Wii U really is the best way to play Wii games upscaled to a HD resolution in good quality. A lot of devices add lag, even the small thumb sized ones. If you're not keen on that, buy a component cable for now, which is the best native output that the Wii can do (but not the Wii Mini, I think).

2017年11月13日 · Go into Wii Settings > Display Settings > TV Type > Set to "HDTV 480p" Shutdown the Wii and connect to your monitor now. If your monitor supports 480p as an input signal, it will work.

2023年5月18日 · I have the MAYFLASH Wii to HDMI adapter, decent inexpensive way to get your Wii on a modern TV. Stay away from the really cheap "Wii2HDMI" adapters on Amazon, they can be hit or miss. Get the MAYFLASH one, I've also heard good things about the Portholic Wii to HDMI adapter too so that might be a decent option.
