The Fremont–Winema National Forest is a United States National Forest formed from the 2002 merger of the Fremont and Winema National Forests. They cover territory in southern Oregon from the crest of the Cascade Range on the west past the city of Lakeview to the east.

The Fremont-Winema National Forest of south central Oregon is a mountainous region with a rich geological, ecological, archaeological, and historical history. Founded in 1908, the Fremont National Forest was originally protected as the Goose Lake Forest Reserve in 1906.

The Fremont-Winema National Forest offers 2.3 million acres to explore in south-central Oregon. The heavily timbered western portion of the Fremont-Winema National Forest is bordered by the Cascade Mountain Range and Crater Lake National Park, and stretches east into the Klamath River Basin, an area known for year-round sunshine.
