A wish can revive a dead creature whose body has been destroyed, but the task takes two wishes, one to recreate the body and another to infuse the body with life again. Dm ruled that the wish worked (at the cost of the ability to cast wish for 3d4 long rests) so i used action surge (i was multiclassed with fighter) and cast dimension door 500 ft up, taking the fighter out of possession range (it had like 300 ft range) and cast feather fall targeting me and the fighter

Resurrection via wish also compresses that 1 hour into a single action, and the dead creature regains full hit points, so it could be amazing on the battlefield. It will be the last spell you cast that day, though, as wish doesn't shield you from its side effects.

2018年1月2日 · Since Wish's power and limitations largely depend on what the DM feels comfortable granting it, I think the Wish spell, as written, is not a super interesting tool. If your Wizard can prepare Wish and uses it for its stated effects, you're basically opening up a way to solve a pretty vast array of problems at the cost of a daily resource.

2021年7月9日 · I get that wish is powerful, but the DM is god if anything gamebreaking comes out of a wish it isn't a game balance issue or a wish issue the game is ultimately balanced by DM discretion. Wish isn't balanced by a 33% of losing wish its balanced by the dm saying no.
