Campus Housing and Residence Life At Wits, our residences are living and learning centres. We offer a wide variety of residence accommodation, ranging from single-gender residences, catering residences, to mixed-gender residences.

Students who are presently at Wits, but not residing in residence. Applications are made online through self-service. For further inquiries please contact the Central Accommodation Office – located on the Ground Floor, Room SH045, Solomon Mahlangu House. The closing date for undergraduates is 30 September.

Catering residence for male students up to 25 years of age (Undergraduate only) "Men’s Res" (College House and Dalrymple House) is joined by a communal driveway and linking gardens. Accommodation varies from single to sharing double and triple rooms. Meals are served in the main dining hall in the Students’ Union building;

Our student accommodation offers modern, fully furnished options. Choose to go solo in one of our private studio rooms or make new friends in a shared apartment with private rooms and shared facilities. All rooms offer a bed, mattress, built-in closet, study desk, chair, pinboard, desk lamp, fridge and panel heater.

We are a 7-storey mixed residence situated about 0.6 km from the main Wits Campus. Giving you the convenience of enjoying an off-campus life but still within good proximity to the campus. The residence boasts some of the largest single rooms in Braamfontein, spread across 6 dedicated floors that are segregated between male & female students.
