What's the state of the different schools right now? Coming back to the game for the 12 free days (and for nostalgia) after..... a long long time of not playing. Are there any schools that stand out as particularly strong or particularly weak right now?

Below is my ranking of all seven w101 schools based on the PvE experience of the game, from worst to best. I consider both solo and team content so how well each school does in both of these situations is factored into my ranking. For reference, my current wizards are 160 - Balance, 150 - Myth, 140 - Death, 40 - Life, and 12 - Ice. 7.

In PVE, as someone with every school maxed and likes them all: Death first, Storm second. Death is by far the best support school AND has great offensive power (plus drains.) Storm has Tempest, the best spell in the game.

My main favorite schools are Death, Storm, and Balance. My first-ever character was Balance, and I really liked the wards, blades, and shields that come with it. However, I think Balance is best as a secondary to boost your primary school and not so great as a primary. In my opinion, I think Death is the best.
