Wolfchant is a metal band formed in St. Oswald, Germany, in August 2003 by Lokhi, Gaahnt, Skaahl, and Norgahd. Wolfchant's lyrics deal with legends and folk tales from Nordic mythology. In August 2005 they signed a contract with CCP Records, managed by Caleb Murrell-Smith.

For over 20 years, WOLFCHANT from St. Oswald in the Bavarian Forest have been one of the best-known and longest-serving Pagan Metal bands in Germany. Founded in 2003, the band was instrumental in the furious Pagan Metal wave that swept through the entire metal scene in the mid-2000s, at least with their cult album "A Pagan Storm".
