Introduced in 1985 by Andy Bondy and Lori Frost, PECS employs a simple, engaging method using picture symbols to facilitate communication. The system allows users to convey their needs and desires by exchanging pictures, making communication both structured and enjoyable.

The Picture Exchange Communication System ®, or PECS ®, allows people with little or no communication abilities to communicate using pictures. People using PECS are taught to approach another person and give them a picture of a desired item in exchange for that item.

2020年8月11日 · I am curious what is everyone’s favorite resource for creating PECS and other stimuli that you can edit and make your own. Easy to use is preferred of course. I just switched companies and they have us using LessonPix and I absolutely hate it.
