2011年10月16日 · Hey all, I just finished re-flowing the solder to the LCD on my instrument cluster because a few of the rows were intermittent. Now a couple of the bulbs are out (figures..), but my real problem is that when I was disconnecting the black (X271) connector from the back of the cluster, the cam-lock mechanism crumbled like cornbread!

2011年6月27日 · Conn C (X271) is black. There is no power on X271: pin 1 is the Fuel Tank (level) sensor, pin 3 is GND for the 2 sensors, pin 4 is the Speed Sensor. The other pins are unused. Assuming what my Bentley says applies to your right-hand drive vehicle.-Jerry

2012年7月18日 · I get continuity between the northwest pad (left pad) and pin 5 of the X271 socket on the back of the instrument cluster. All indicates that it should be working for you. Also checked socket #9. It shows continuity to pin 8 of X17 (which is correct). I would just check to make sure you have 12 volts on pin 5 of X271.
