2021年4月30日 · Involving the X32 with X-Dante? If so you can eliminate the router and have a direct path for X32-Edit. At least Dante and X32 Edit won't need a router. I'm not using a Mac at the moment but X32-Edit is blistering fast used that way. I may miss the usage scenario. Gigabit Dante ready switches would be sweet but I'm guessing not entirely neccessary.

2021年10月8日 · X32 edit is just a GUI for the board really. Your X32 will show up to windows as a 32 channel soundcard however, and you can record / mix using your DAW this way with or without x32 edit. I use Reaper and have done this with the X32.

If the X32 is not picking up an IP from the router--thus resulting in the 169.254 "APIPA" address you could give the mixer a static IP that has the same network portion of the iPad address,. Based on the iPad address an address of 192.168.1.220, subnet mask 255.255.255.0 would likely work for the X32. Be sure you are using good network cables.

2016年8月10日 · X32 Edit works with the console's Ethernet remote control port. AFAIK the USB Remote Control port is disabled. The USB Port in the X-UF or X-USB expansion cards is used to send and receive audio and MIDI signals to a DAW on your computer. It doesn't work with the X32 Edit software.

2024年11月9日 · In reality, the X32 (including the full console, Compact, Producer and Rack) can control 38 physical inputs (not including the USB player) at any one time. I use the X32-Edit with my X32 Rack along with Mixing Station on my tablet for most of my booked events and have been doing this way since 2014.
