Jan 30, 2014 · After shooting my XDs I didn't like my XDm trigger anymore and purchased a PRP Ultimate match trigger kit for it. Even after the upgrade I still prefer the crisp break on my XDs. However, I have seen a few Hickock 45 videos and he always talks about how bad the trigger on his XDs .45 is. I think he calls it mushy or something like that.

Aug 21, 2016 · As posted in another thread, I just got my XDS-45 returned with the Powder River Precision trigger upgrade and extended SS mag release. I do notice an improvement on the trigger pull and the mag release is a must have upgrade, IMO. Easy to push and the mags pop out with authority.

Jan 26, 2012 · Add this to the mix, and a fully loaded XDs 3.3 will carry at 26oz (a little more for FMJ). This shaves nearly a pound off the carry weight of my XDm .45 4.5", when it is fully loaded. With the weight of the XDm .45 4.5", I often end up carrying my Ruger LCP instead.

Jun 2, 2013 · The 45 would be the largest round the XDS would use and was designed to make the smallest pistol that would fit around the 45acp. What this meant is that the XDS could then easily be redesigned for the smaller cartridges of the 9mm and 40.

Mar 30, 2013 · Now the xds the 45 has 6 rounds and the 9mm has 8 that two round difference is a substantial difference bc the xds is a lower capacity pistol. Also there will be more noticeable recoil between the xds 9 and 45 when compared to full size or compact xdms.

Sep 16, 2012 · My absolute favorite gun is the XDM 40. I have two, a 4.5" and the Competition 5.25"versions. I rescently got a hold of the new XDS 45 ACP, (while still hoping you come out with an XDS 40). Anyway here is my story.... I have resisted the urge to fire my new Springfield XDS 45 ACP until I had all the items I deemed I needed with it.
