2017年3月30日 · Some confusion arises with North American XFs, as they never had a model called the SV8, instead prior to the XFR it was called the XF Supercharged or XFSC, and even then for a few years the XFSC existed in parallel with the XFR (both with the 5.0, but the SC had a lower tune, less equipment and a different grill to the XFR).

The XF SV8 is intended to offer a more sporting experience than the rest of the XF range, not only through its high output supercharged engine but the standard fit adaptive suspension. In normal driving however there is no apparent compromise in comfort levels, yet in the right conditions the XF is an entertaining car.

It uses the same 5.0-litre supercharged V8 engine as the Jaguar XKR-S. The engine is rated at 550 PS (542 hp; 405 kW) at 6,500 rpm and 680 N⋅m (502 lb⋅ft) of torque at 5,500 rpm. The XFR-S has a 0-60 mph (0-97 km/h) time of 4.4 seconds and a top speed of 186 mph (299 km/h).

The XF will be available from launch with a range of four engines, all featuring Jaguar’s proven six-speed automatic transmission with steering wheel-mounted ‘paddles’ for manual gear selection.
