CAT-iq 2.0 is a digital communication standard, used primarily for cordless phone systems. CAT-iq 2.0 handsets can be paired with the wireless gateway. 2020年4月10日 · I thought I read somewhere that the newer XG2 (XG2v2-P?) has 6 tuners, but now I can't find that information. Regardless, I still need at least 8 tuners to dedicate one for each TV plus 2 more for cloud DVR recording - at least that's how I understand it.

2021年7月16日 · The XG2 is what a Comcast calls a "TV box", not a DVR. Yes, you can use it to program recordings and to watch those recordings, but that does not make the device a DVR. A DVR must be able to store programs. The XG2 cannot do that.

You can definitely use your own router with this setup. However, you can’t go through a gigabit switch. You would have to go from the fiber “modem” provided(not panoramic), to your gigabit router, then to your switch. Reason is, most if not all, switches don’t push out the IP address causing your router to not broadcast data/wifi.

If yes, then the apps on the X1 box are not a separate internet but rather a feature of X1 cable boxes that allow popular apps to be used through the cable box rather than by using a roku or smart tv. The best thing about the integrated apps for me is the voice control. (For example I could say “YouTube monkey videos”).
