2007年1月11日 · An XR4 is a 2.4 liter V6. An XR6 is a 2.5 liter V6. I believe the XR-2 had a smaller gearcase and used a smaller prop as well. But it pushed the limit on the gears and a lot of them grenaded. It was a bit faster because there was less gearcase drag due to it's smaller size, but then the larger blocks more than made up for that.

2009年11月6日 · A motor without a starter is a pig in a poke. If it's the original XR4 LU, it's a small diameter 1.78:1 unit that can't take a lot of abuse. Running it with bad seals and getting water in it is abuse. The LU normally ratchets in forward gear. It should lock up in reverse.
