2019年7月10日 · Crutchfield exchanged the Sony XAV-AX5000 for the Alpine iLX-W650. I will make a separate thread about the Alpine iLX-W650 to keep this one clean and about the 5000. However, it is worth noting when I used the prexisting Jeep wiring through the console USB with the OnePlus 7 Pro, I never had any issues with Android Auto and the Alpine.

Other sites say that the XAV-AX5000 will fit, but Best Buy's site says it won't. Also, does the installation kit include adapters for steering wheel control and USB port functionality? Asked 5 years ago by zman.

2020年7月23日 · I have a Sony XAV-AX1000 head unit that has Apple CarPlay. The MAIN REASON I chose the Sony AX1000 is because of the front USB port. I don't have power windows -- so the area where the window controls would be on a JK makes a perfect spot to put my iPhone. Now I can keep it plugged in all the time on a short cable to the front USB on AX1000.

In order to retain steering wheel control button functionality according to Crutchfield I also bought a PAC RP4-CH11. I paid for the Crutchfield ReadyHarness service which makes all the wiring a beauty.
