2022年2月27日 · The desktop version of VLC is very well-maintained, and should compile for UWP except for the interface at the moment. It's planned on the long run, but Xbox is clearly not the priority of the people working on it, in particular because it requires hardware and it's a closed platform. The vlc-winrt interface has been done as a prototype long ago.

2012年10月13日 · When I choose the "browse" option in VLC on the Xbox One, four folders are listed: music, pictures, playlists and videos. I guess these are somehow linked to the Windows libraries. I can play the files, but videos are played without subtitles, which are in the same folder as the video files, with the exact same name and in .srt format.

2022年1月2日 · VLC triggers hdr in the menu, but when I exit the menu after one second, it toggles hdr off and Im left with a greyish video. My projector, avr and xbox series x all play hdr in every other app, game, streaming.

And I am posting this as a XBox1 issue just because that's the only device I have for VLC but this issue is probably for all devices and not just XBox1.
