The New Flyer Industries XDE60 is a diesel-electric powered, articulated transit bus from New Flyer's Xcelsior line. It had been in development since at least 2009. Brampton Transit, who was the launch customer of the XDE40, was the launch customer of the XDE60 in 2012.

The Xcelsior also has a wider front door along with narrower pier panels and A-pillars to improve visibility. The roof of the bus is gently raised at the rear section to offer increased headroom. Also introduced on the Xcelsior were larger glass roof hatches.
