Xol, Will of the Thousands is a member of the five Worm Gods which lived underneath Fundament. Together with the other Worm Gods, Xol engineered the rise of Oryx, the Taken King and the rest of the Hive. Once Oryx slew Akka, the Worm of Secrets, Xol knew that Yul, the Honest Worm would attempt...

Xol, Will of the Thousands is one of the five Worm Gods, ancient paracausal creatures that mastered the Sword Logic and reputed as the creators of the Hive pantheon. He was worshipped by his High Priest Nokris, Herald of Xol and the Grasp of Nokris prior to his death and defection, and is the main antagonist of the Warmind expansion.

But Akka was not the only one with a secret. Xol had a pact with a forgotten child, abandoned by its father. The cursed one took a fraction of Xol’s power, and in return, Xol took the heart from the child, whose name had been struck from the World’s Grave. The orphan called life out of death, and fed that power to Xol.

Sometime after the death of Akka, Yul began to contemplate taking the power from the weakest of the four remaining Worms, to withstand any future attacks by Oryx. Knowing himself to be vulnerable, Xol made a pact with Oryx's abandoned son, Nokris, to flee Fundament and seek new worlds to conquer together.

Based on the size of the Dreadnaught, Akka would appear to have been immensely larger than Xol or even Xita, possibly approaching the size of a small celestial body. Akka is the first known Worm God to be killed by not just the Hive, but by any being.

Akka, Worm of Secrets was one of five Worm Gods second only to The Darkness itself in the hierarchy of the Hive pantheon.

2022年8月29日 · Xol was killed by the guardian, but transcended and was transformed into Whisper of the Worm. Akka was killed by Oryx (technically he was called Auryx at the time but u get the point). Killing it/he/she/idk-their-pronoun allowed Auryx to commune with the Darkness and learn how to Take.
