2021年6月21日 · It was basically the HALion Sonic SE for Pro Tools. Think of it that way. Personally, I didn't find a ton of use for it. Most DAWs come with about as many sounds that are just as usable. Haven't had Xpand!2 installed in a long time. All of AIR's stuff is ridiculously dated, at this point, except for DrumSynth 500 which may be useful to some people.

2020年7月6日 · Thing is, the Xpand!2 is great and worth the price but it's also famous plugin that goes for $4.99 time to time. Can't remember when, but it was even free to download too. Don't get me wrong, it's still one of best rompler but I can't pay more than $5 if I were you.

2019年11月21日 · Hybrid and Xpand! are both go-tos for my very first tracks when writing. I don't always keep them, but the presets are great to get started with. Hybrid is versatile enough to morph into other things. And even though Xpand!2 is just a rompler, the fact that you can layer 4 patches in a single instance lets you build some interesting sounds.
