The Xtrfy M42 is extremely well built. Buttons have very minimal post-travel and very minimal pre-travel and no button wobble/side play whatsoever. There is no side, bottom or top flex, the mouse is built like a rock in this regard. M42 feels high quality in hand and has a very similiar vibe to Xtrfys previous mouse, the M4.

2021年4月5日 · This is a true plug and play mouse, there is no download software required, you can control the RGB, polling rate and dpi on the mouse. One thing i would suggest people do when they recieve the mouse is go on the xtrfy website and update the mouse as mine came with a high LOD which is now fixed.

2022年6月6日 · This mouse looks soooo promising. I really don't care for the holes, but at least for xtrfy's mouse the holes are circular. In my experience, the holes are the better than the hexagon ones. Still though, I wish the sides were solid.

2021年1月29日 · The M42 flares out more aggressive than the viper mini, I have more support on the palm when clawing the viper mini. Also, the mouse buttons hover closer to the mousepad on the M42, so overall I have to grip it tighter than the viper mini if I use the Fk shell. The other shell is a dream though.

2020年12月8日 · To your first question - I haven't used the M4 personally, but I would say it's mostly just a different model. I'm sure Xtrfy has improved their process over time and as a result there are aspects of the M42 design which are strictly better, but mostly the M4 is a medium-size ergo shape and the M42 is a small symmetrical shape.

2020年12月18日 · Xtrfy M4 is an ergonomic mouse, M42 is ambi Length wise, they're very similar, but the M4 has quite an aggressive flare whereas the M42 is an ambi mouse so it's a lot safer. The M4 also fills your hand and palm more when compared to M42.
