Max Martin-styled teen pop was big in Y2K while it was uncool during 2K1. Well theres another term called the 'Millennium Era' to refer to the period between the Late 90's and the Early 00's. It spans from 1997 through 2003 (widest margins could include Late 1996 & Early 2004).
