Established in 1952 the YPM Music School ranks among the oldest music schools in Indonesia

Learning at the YPM Music School is structured into 3 academic programs, each having its own duration and educational goal. The Basic Education Program caters to beginners and their development into technically capable and musically knowledgeable young players.

Tepatnya pada tanggal 4 November tahun 1952, didirikanlah Yayasan Pendidikan Musik (YPM) di Jakarta yang diprakarsai oleh Ibu RA Soedilah Slamet Sudibyo dan 9 orang lain dan pertama kali diresmikan oleh Menteri Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan Bahder Djohan.
