Falcom remade Ys 4 recently, doesn't seem too unlikely Ys 5 might get the same treatment at some point. Speaking of 4 there is a pc version of Celceta actually, it's just that- A: Apparently it's not very good, it wasn't made by Falcom themselves but rather a Chinese company named Joyoland they partner with in the region.

Oath in Felghana and Memories of Celceta are ground-up remakes of Ys 3 and 4. Currently no remake or other official English release of Ys 5 (originally a Super Famicom game) exists. Which version of Ys 5 would you recommend, SNES, SNES Expert remake, or PS2?

Kondo does suggest working on a remake but the staff seems to prefer working on a new game instead of a remake and it doesn't help that the wait time is quite long nowadays (3~4 years) because of the Trails popularity.

The only similarities are general story beats and the music. It wasn't a bad experience, but it isn't that memorable, either. 2014年11月2日 · The DS4 IS supported on PC by default. It's a Direct Input controller, a method of input much, much older and used a lot before Xinput came along. The reason why it dosen't work properly for Ys is because the game does not allow you to configure the axis for movement, and the default ones conflict with the DS4 triggers position.
