Dec 22, 2023 · Picked up a 24 yz125x last week. So far this thing is awesome. I wanted a 125 to challenge and force me to become a better rider. It's holding up it's end of the bargain... 21 yz250fx comparison: The 125 is slow but it's so much more nimble in the trees. It's much happier putting around with the gf as well. On rocky hill climbs the 125 sucks.

Apr 26, 2020 · Switching to a 2 stroke again. I was just wondering if there are any real differences between the yz125 and yz125X besides sprocket size, tires, and more bottom end power in the X. Oh and I mostly ride trails and fields with some smaller jumps. Thanks!

Oct 4, 2024 · On my 2024 YZ125X I’m running the JD trail spec but using a 60 Pilot to get rid of the lean bog (recommended pilot is a 50). Bike runs really, really good. 185 main, 60 pilot, Red needle in 4th clip. This is in 75 degree weather and sea level. I tried the Gytr Y3 and Y4 needles and could not get the bike running in an acceptable tune on my 125X.

Oct 2, 2020 · The YZ125X is super light feeling both statically and in motion - like crazy light. At first it could feel a bit unsettled at times as the chassis is so responsive to any inputs but this sensation has gone away as I am adapting to the overall response quickness of the bike and simply getting used it.
