2017年12月29日 · Ive always loved the versatility and fun factor a yz250 2 stroke has (track/woods/ whatever) and wanted more power- plain and simple- I own an Af500, a '15 yz450f and have had bikes for 20 years- I ride track intermediate and woods as fast as some of the better guys- a 450 in the woods was a tank- went right back to the yz after less than a season.

2008年3月29日 · +1 on the Bel-Ray Gear Saver Oil for the YZ250's tranny. The other one that I've good luck with is Golden Spectro Gear Lube 80W(Transmission/Wet Clutch). These two seem to make my bike shift easier/smoother and the gear box also appears to be a bit quieter.

2014年11月30日 · Ok. This is a 02 yz250 with the 99-01 20mm kickstart and a new 2013 yz450 kickstarter. It looks great and I didnt need to make any modifications. It kicks all the way through and doesnt interfere with frame or clutch cover.

2010年9月26日 · On my 2007 yz250 i run stock gearing which is 14 front and 50 rear. Maybe try a 14 front and a 48 rear for some more top end but you still will have a lot of bottom end. I run a renthal oring chai with a front sunstart sprocket and a aluminium 50 tooth renthal rear sprocket. Both are awesome.!!

2017年8月8日 · The YZ250 is known for its lean spot at 3/8 throttle which is the needle. If you tune away the 3/8 lean spot and all its erratic surging etc. everything after that gets to rich and spoogie. The bike is either erratic and then runs clean up top, or pulls hard and clean the first half then dirty up top, or a little of both.

2013年6月2日 · What is a good raito to mix gas/oil at for a yz 250. In the manual it calls for 32:1 but on the oil bottle it says 50:1. I am not racing I drive my bike semi hard and I will be in a pit every now and then but mostly trail and highroad riding lol. Let me know what you guys use for your premix ratio.

2023年9月7日 · Love innovation, USA-made, etc. But I agree that this "problem" doesn't exist for me. My bike is a 2005 YZ250 with YZX gears. Timing retarded 1 degree. Cam throttle. Purrs like a kitten, unless you want full hit, then just crank the throttle.
