2009年10月6日 · Sure they're a bit heavy compared to the newer YZ450s, but it's not really an issue, especially open riding. I feel that my YZ426 is more stable at high speeds in open riding, much more so than a 250 two stroke. I think the bike is very well suited for a taller/heavier rider. My brother is 6' 210 and he feels right at home on a 426.

2007年4月9日 · The YZ426 in good condition should produce, I would think, something right at 200 pounds of compression, but it could vary from that considerably. The real test is not in how high the numbers are, but in how many strokes it takes to reach its max.

2007年8月26日 · The YZ426 has a low gear ratio of 1.846, and come geared at 14/49, which, including the primary reduction gives a full overall 1st gear ratio of 18.2:1 form the crank to the rear wheel. The 4 speed '03-'04 YZ450 has a low gear of 1.929, and is geared at 14/48, yielding an overall of 18.62:1, slightly lower than the 426.

2004年5月31日 · THere is a lot of differences that people dont know by years. From the 00 to 01 model: different clutch, splined crank, differnt carb setting and vent hose routing, new front floating brake and Nissin MC, BNG, internally things started to get drilled out like the shift drum, forks, etc.

2004年12月7日 · YZ426 cam timing + YZ needle (or JD is you wish) = first kick starts. Don't mean to sound rude but your money would be better spent with a gym membership ? The bit that has me confused with the guys that have trouble starting their 426's is this. If you don't have the strength/co-ordination/whaterver to start the bike, how the hell do yoiu ride it?
