2013年4月3日 · Hi, I'm looking to buy a grand, budget upto ~20k. I'm currently looking at a used Yamaha C7 and trying to figure out if it's good value or if I should settle for a much smaller new piano. The C7 is from 1989, they just replaced the bushings, which greatly improved the action.

2014年3月20日 · Re: yamaha C7 grand vs. steinway Reply #5 on: March 20, 2014, 01:39:41 AM @gvans: thanks for your input! im surprised you say that yamahas are better for pp playing, since the only one I have available to me occasionally(in my teacher's studio) is quite loud(aka the opening of Ondine is a pain to play on it lol).
Yamaha C6 v C7 - Piano Street
2021年3月29日 · Would the C7 be too loud for such a space? There is only a thousand dollars difference between the cost of the C6 and the C7, yet between the C5 & C6 $4000. I am assuming there must be some greater technical excellence in the C6 & C7? PS Yamaha is the only reasonably priced quality piano here along with Kawai
Yamaha C7 or Steinway Model M - Piano Street
2005年3月7日 · I should have booked the venue with the Yamaha C7 . Although the hall with the Steinway Model M had better acoustics, I have learnt that the quality of the piano is more important when choosing a concert venue. The Steinway Model M belongs in a living room, not on a concert stage. This piano to be honest has no "balls" (testicles).

Yamaha C6 - big piano for small room?
2005年2月8日 · Having played quite a few pianos at a dealer last weekend, I found I liked the Yamaha S6 best, prefering both the sound and the action to smaller nearly new Steinways, Bosendorfers, Bechsteins and Bluethners. I also liked the Yamaha C7 which I found very clearly better than the C5 and C3 (quite similar) and the Kawai's up to RX3.
Yamaha C7 with Renner + Room acoustics = your thoughts?
2013年6月4日 · So in my piano shopping, I found a really nice Yamaha C7- used- 1994- at a local dealer- played it twice on 2 separate trips so far. The dealer is a straight shooter and has excellent reviews- he's also offering 10 year warranty.
Yamaha C7 Transaction Prices in Southern US? - pianostreet.com
2007年12月3日 · Based on the latest Piano Magazine that I received from Japan, the C7 =2,940,000 yen, and C7A = 3,255,000 yen, in US$ C7= 26K, C7A=29K. Of course, you have to add to the above price the shipping cost etc. If you mention the above price to any US dealers, they will argue that the Yamaha outside of US are different from whatever got imported to US.
old steinway d274 vs new yamaha c7 - pianostreet.com
2016年12月2日 · price is a big factor in decision. if the brand new yahama c7 grand sounds good and feels nice and doesn't leave me 'wanting more' then i'd get the new instrument, especially if the old ss D is beat to death or in need of a lot of work to get it up to snuff. if condition of the D is good and i like it and it's cheaper than the yam, i migth swing more towards the D.
--U3 ?the best thing next to a grand?-- - Piano Street
2017年1月3日 · I am trying to get that buttery warm sound of a C7 F European made in the late 80's that would equate to an upright and a technician said the U3 is one of the best when it comes to uprights. Again , I'm looking for that Warm buttery FEEL AND SOUND of a C7 I am upright. Feel. Sound . Those are the 2 greatest qualities of a piano. But in an upright
