Soso Village on Naviti Island is the biggest Fijian village in the Yasawa Islands, Fiji. The village is headed by a Tuinaviti who is the chief who overseas three mataqali (clans) – Leweivuwa, Nambuya, Suelevu totalling 400-500 people.

Naviti (pronounced [naˈβitʃi]) is a volcanic island in the Yasawa Group, in the Western Division of Fiji. Located at 17.13° South and 177.25° East, Naviti covers an area of 34 square kilometres (13 sq mi), with a maximum elevation of 388 metres (1,273 ft). The Island is covered in dense tropical dry forests, with an abundance of mangrove trees.

2013年5月18日 · Soso is a village of about 300 people situated on one of the larger islands in the Yasawas. Apart from this one there are a couple of other villages, a health station, police post and a couple of resorts on the island. We did’t see any signs of the other villages and only one resort from the top of a mountain. So it felt very isolated.
