I am a Ph.D. candidate in linguistics at Boston University. My research interests center on semantics and its interface with syntax and morphology, mostly in the domains of degrees and directional morphemes. My work is primarily theoretical, but also has a fieldwork component.

Ying Gong received the B.Eng. degree in mechanical engineering and automation from the Harbin Institute of Technology, Harbin, China, in 2015, the Ph.D. degree in MNE from the City University of Hong Kong, Hong Kong, China, in 2022, and the Ph.D. degree in electromechanical engineering from the Harbin Institute of Technology in 2022.
