There have been many comp and ex comp players who were regulars. I heard about Yomps many times over the years. One of the former admins went to considerable lengths to get a scattergun signed by him. His skills were the stuff of legend. The comp TF2 scene is quite small in the grand scheme of things, and just about everyone knows everyone else.

Nobody thinks Yomps' life matters more than anyone else, they just wanted to let TF2 players know that a professional TF2 player died in a TF2 general forum.
